Abstract
The article considers the phenomenon of musical form-structure in the framework of the concept of aesthetic harmony introduced by V. N. Kholopova. The author proposers two new typologies of forms and comes up with new terms. One of them is based on the criterion of the adherence degree of typified classical forms’ features; ordinal, non-ordinary and evolutionary forms are defined. The other classification centers upon spatial side of the composition, its architectonics. It is proposed to classify forms as symmetrical, asymmetric, circular and ornamental, which corresponds to the theory of musical space, its conceptual level. Manifestation of musical spatiality in the field of form is illustrated by specific musical examples. This approach contributes to a comprehensive evaluation of musical works, especially necessary in the process of chronotopic analysis.
